  1. As much as I love Shough, picking him over Bo Nix is quite a take. Nix has started 4x as many games, took his team to the AFC Championship Game, is a year younger, has the fifth year contract option unlike Shough, and has played pretty damn well.

  2. I get people like the flash plays but Caleb Williams is one of the most inaccurate passers in the NFL and has been since he’s been in the NFL

I seriously do not understand the hype around him at all!

People are going to see that over these next couple years I promise.

Luck has been on his side down the stretch this season, can’t keep getting lucky forever.

If I’m wrong I will gladly eat crow, but I’ve watched over 800 snaps trying to figure out why he gets the benefit of the doubt so much….He doesn’t impress me at all

    Struggles reading defenses
Holds the ball way too long
Over confident in his ability to maneuver in the pocket
Sloppy footwork and technique which causes the ball to sail on him WAYYY TOO OFTEN.
Seems a little uncoachable as he is making a lot of the same mistakes he has made since his rookie season.

I think he drinks too much of his own Kool-Aid, and it’s going to stunt his development

He’s just average, with the ability to make great plays every once in a while bc of his physical gifts and athleticism

  3. Pump the brakes. There are too many examples of first or second year QB's hitting a wall and either not developing any further or digressing. I like Shough and believe him to be a good bet for future success, but let's see a couple of more years.

  4. Shough only played 9 games. Remember, you need three years of consistent good football before you can qualify for the franchise quarterback label. Some fans were saying a guy who only one game and no 300 yard games was a franchise quarterback. He showed promise but let him make a pro bowl or get to the playoffs, first.

  5. Hes the best in the south and id say easily top 15 right now. Probably top 10 by the end of next year possibly top 5. Get him a guard, wr and a balanced run game. He can pretty much do everything and is only gonna get better.

  6. I wouldn't trade Shough for any of them cause I've seen more poise from Shough in 9 games than I've seen from Herbert in several years. We don't know yet just how good Shough is.

  7. Mahomes dropped really far this year. I really doubt he’ll make it to another SB. And I’m a fan.

Jackson hasn’t had hardly any post season success. He didn’t just lose. The Ravens lost because of him in his physical prime. What do you expect will happen with age, injuries and new coaches?

Caleb Williams is easily the most overrated player in the NFL. People are embarrassing themselves talking about Caleb Williams. It’s gonna look stupid next year.

Drake Maye is actually playing well but not nearly as well as they say.

Allen is the best player in the league.
Bo Nix is the second best.

Shough will likely be a top 5 QB next year. Hard to say that now with a small sample size.

  8. I don’t think yall saw what I saw, Shough in those 8 games showed a lot of growth. To the point where this man looks like he’s going to be better than Herbert. Better than a lot of QBs. We got a QB, he’s hungry to get better
