bo was my fave jay but a below average defensive player who has average 16 homers and a ba of .294 is not worth 42m a year. baseball has lost it's mind. the jays can add 2 or even 3 helpful pieces for that much

MAYBE GET A DAMN CLOSER!
I like that Barger isn't going to lose playing time honestly for this year. They did a good job this off season. Kirk, Vlad, Ernie, Andre, Okamoto, Springer, Varsho, Barger, Santander, sounds like a good solid everyday core to me. Let's Go!
why do they need another outfielder? Okamoto they got to play 3rd, therefore Barger will be in the outfield, they have Varsho and Santander, also Lukes and Straw. They are full in the infield too, rotation is set, they need to concentrate on getting as good a closer they possibly can and improving the bullpen.
Nothing the lineup stinks
How about giving Varsho an extension. Look inward first.

They can still trade for another bat and closer with Berrios who I think is outside of the rotation looking in and some prospects
