  • “I think we pride ourselves on getting the looks, but at the end of the day, we’re a shot or two from winning the last two games…got to bear down on those situations…it’s bittersweet, we’re doing a lot of good things to get those looks.”
  • “We’re trying our ass off. Lot of distractions. I think we’re trying our best to learn and build and try to improve in some areas on a nightly basis.”
  • The Kings made it hard to get inside. The difference in the game was that the Kings scored on some of their looks, but they didn’t.

  • Scoring on the 5v3 could’ve changed the momentum.
  • He has a lot of good friends and memories in LA. He’s grateful for his chance to play in LA.

Sully

  • He’s talked about critical times in games a lot and the team giving up goals against. He felt they responded well, but the early goal was due to the lack of attention to detail.
  • They had really good looks, but the “puck just didn't go in.”
  • “I think Schneids defends hard. You know, I think he’s a mobile guy. I think he’s abrasive. You know, he has that physical edge to him… you know, he’s playing a, you know, elevated role. He’s getting heavy minutes against, you know, the opponents top players night in and night out. I think he’s competing hard.”
  • “It’s hard for me to be critical of our play. It’s top 10 in the league. We’ve scored a lot of power play goals as of late…ideally, you’d like it to score 5-on-3. If they weren’t getting looks…it might be a different conversation…but that certainly wasn’t the case tonight.”
  • He thinks Gabe-Mika-JT “have been excellent” for the team. Mika “has been pretty consistent…JT’s had a number of injuries he’s constantly, you know, trying to, you know, recapture his game, coming back from injuries. You know, I think he's getting better with every game he plays.  And I think Gabe Perrault is learning right infront of our eyes. You know, I think he’s making more plays. He’s…fgifuring out to play with those guys. I think he's building confidence with the puck. He’s hanging on to pucks. He makes good decisions. And, I think Gabe is learning defensively…He has good details. He’s in the right positions. Gabe’s a smart player and I think his aptitude for the game is high, so I think his learning curve is steep”

Does Sullivan get high before he does these Q&A’s?

  2. “It’s hard for me to be critical of our play. ~~It’s~~ Mika and Panarin are top 10 in the league.” FTFY
