1. Mayfield played like garbage his last game in a "must win" game costing his team the playoffs. He has become a "coach killer" getting his offensive coaches all canned. He should worry about his own failed resume. None of Bakers Cleveland team mates shed a tear when Cleveland honored HIS trade request including Myles Garrett.

2. Umm, Baker demanded to be traded or let go after they inquired about Watson. That is what forced them to go all in on Watson.

3. Baker is so weird. He was the one who cut off all communication after that season because he team thought the Browns were going after Cousins (via Jason Lloyd of The Athletic). Then when it came out that Deshaun Watson rejected the Browns initial offer, Baker demanded a trade. He literally texted Schefter and posted on social media within hours after Watson passed on the Browns. Revisionist history on his part

5. And the Falcons also just hired Cleveland's OC. The Falcons now have the HC and OC that led Cleveland to rank 31st in total offense in 2024 and 2025. We hit rock bottom. We are the Cleveland Browns of the South.

8. Baker tweeted a goodbye letter to cleveland in response to the front office doing their jobs. I bet everyone down to the guy cutting the grass at the practice field was like "well this is awkward". That's some walking on eggshells type stuff. Given that then watson declined cleveland, ownership was like "we'll guarantee every cent" out of desperation to not go spiraling down.

   They sure did spiral down, but I think they went to the playoffs once more without him. Testament to the roster and staff.

   Deshaun should be banned. Baker is a .500 diva QB. The truth is usually the simplest explanation.

The dude is just immature and doesn't know how to handle take accountability. I do like Baker as a QB though the dude can sling the rock like a champ. I just hope his mindset grows and matures as he gets older. Stefanski also got the short end of that stick as well as the front office really screwed him over by forcing the watson trade on him and giving up a ton of picks and cap space to do so. Before that trade went down Stefanski had that brown team doing some good things.

    Also on a side note D Orlando Bedwetter is not very well liked around the falcons fandom we mostly can't stand his questions and articles on the Falcons. We been asking for that man to be moved from the Falcons forever now lol. He don't speak for the rest of us fans 😀

The Falcons with Kirk Cousins as the Starter 12-10 ) note 1 game it was an unplanned last minute choice to start him vs the Dolphins when he was still QB2). Why Isn't everyone talking about the fact that the Falcons 2 Year debacle didn't happen because of Kirk Cousins Starting? Sure people can point to the 6-3 2024 start & bad games he had that lead to 7-7 but this is about the Option between Cousins & Penix & what's best for Atlanta in 2026. Also why aren't people talking about the Chemistry Cousins has with the current Roster & the New Head Coach Kevin Stefanski? Do people really hate Cousins so much they cant unbiasedly look at this situation? Also what's up with this "Crowning Penix" narrative that has no basis in Reality? The Falcons with Penix were 4-8 & by the time he got hurt in 2025 it was to late at 3-7. This is the QB that people are betting on in 2026? Now if its a Cap Issue then Cousins has already restructured for the hit to land in 2027 & said he wanted to be hear so that can be worked out. As a 35 Year Falcons fan I want to Win & this fantasy about relying on Penix & cutting Cousins makes no sense.

24. Stefanski will be a good coach for ATL, but a lot is riding on wether or not he can coach Penix to stop throwing with the wrong hand. There's enough talent, but they need a QB that can stay healthy and read a defense.

32. It is well documented that Baker tried to play through a shoulder injury and was not great. Shame on the Browns for not recognizing that fact. Instead they cut him loose. That being said he would be well served not running his mouth about Atlanta. He is 1 and 3 over the past two years against them.
