  4. I figured the immediate hours following the second interview with Evero would be telling. If they were all in on Evero, McDaniel, or Minter they likely would close on hiring one of them since they were officially Rooney Rule compliant at that conclusion of the interview with Evero.

    So, the more time that passes the more it will feel to me like their top targets are Webb and Kubiak. Perhaps that’s confirmation bias but truthfully I don’t think it is. This report also aligns with that thought. Doesn’t mean they will hire either as I’m sure the interest in both will be real for the Bills and Ravens. This is just how I am reading the signs.

    My guess is the guys interviewed twice so far are more like plan B options. All quality candidates I would be happy with if they miss out on whoever are their top candidates.

  6. I’m hoping we still consider Scheelhaase too, especially if Seahawks win and we’d have to wait 2 more weeks for Kubiak.

  11. My cope is they haven’t hired yet because our coach is still competing for a superbowl. I’m hoping that means Kubiak but at this point I don’t even have faith he can turn things around. Idk what it takes to break this curse at this point.

    1. Kubiak

    2. Minter with Webb as OC

    3. Shula with LaFleur as OC

    4. LaFleur

    5. Webb.

    I like Webb, i just think he needs 1-2 years more to marinate and develop connections to build a quality staff

  13. I want Kubiak bad. Feeling like we’ll be letdown à la Ben Johnson last year though.

  14. Pretty sure they can’t hire Kubiak if the Seahawks win on Sunday, so there’s a good chance the hire doesn’t come until February.

  17. Tbh I don’t trust none of these “league experts”. Two days before we even fired Pete they were talking like Brain Flores and Brain Daboll were locked into the job and we haven’t even interviewed either.

  20. Hard to take anything seriously from a guy who’s job is entirely the result of his dad being a billionaire.

  22. All I’ve really taken from it all is that their #1 guy is still in playoffs. So it’ll be a long while til we know and we may see other teams hire guys. So don’t do that FOMO shit y’all did over McDaniel lol.
