Who would you go after since they apparently want to spend the $20m they just offloaded.

Give me Bader.
Bader and Tauchman. Zac Gallen would not be an awful risk.
Bader or Hays plus Griffin Canning or Jose Quintana
Austin Hays and Zack Littell as the top targets. Give them a legitimate OF bat and an innings eater type SP to buy time for starters to develop/recover.
I expect Bader gets a multi year deal and I’m not sure the Sox would want to sign him for multiple years. I think they stick one year deals or 1 and 1’s.
I’d also give Liam Hendriks a call (though I admit this is mostly an emotional opinion and they’re probably better off giving young guys a shot….I just like Liam).
Yeah, I just went through this list, too. Hoo boy, not very exciting.
There ARE a comical amount of “friends of the program” left on the pitching side of things, however. Especially starters — too many to list. For relievers, we could bring Kopech, Kimbrel, and Hendriks all back to battle it out for the closer job.
Guys, you know how this goes with Jerry still alive. Not trying to be negative, but be realistic on your expectations. This team doesn’t spend money. Jerry’s job is to deliver profits, not wins. We’ve seen this movie 100 times.
Haha this is terrible. Nobody on that list. Who cares now, put anyone out there as long as they are young. How the fuck do they manage to bring down spirits in January? It’s an all year thing now, apparently. Shit list with bum players , can’t wait to hate how terrible they obviously will be
Idk why I got so excited when we got Dominic Fletcher :/ Then felt he was buried in our depth, now we have none. Hah. Maybe Tauchman comes back?
Why would a free agent want to sign with the Sox unless we offer crazy money?
We Iz Getz Nobodyz
Rhys Hoskins has been linked back to us multiple times 👀
