20. although Hutson is terrific, they don't need another puck moving defenseman as they have werenski and hughes. seth jones was likely going to play pk, big dman shutdown games and Lacombe plays well on the pk. I guess he just doesn't fit the puzzle

21. Jason Robertson or Tage Thompson would fit the chemistry. Nazim Kadri is a former Laugh. Once a lazy Laugh, always a lazy Laugh. Completely useless for the Canadiens and would only ruin their chemistry, not to mention chances of finally becoming successful again after thirty-something years.

29. For how rare and costly 2nd centers in the league, youd imagine the habs will do everything in their power to keep Kapanen playing and developing. Kapanen is basically a max win with zero cost. Ive been saying that habs 2nd line is the closest thing ive seen this season to the panthers 3rd line last season which dominated so much even mcdavid praised them.

30. I think Kadri could actually be a temporary solution on the wing for the top line. He’s a lefty, pretty tough, smart player and can take a faceoff occasionally.

32. I am conflicted about wanting Cole and Lane on team USA. Yes, for them I would be happy, but they will get lots of chances going forward to be on these teams, and as a Canadian, I don't want to cheer against them in our first chance to watch our boys in Olympic hockey in a long time. If that makes sense.

36. Just like last year, Hughes stands pat. There IS NO REASON to go out and get anyone as we are already a playoff caliber team and playoff experience is too valuable for all our young players. Keep the faith and Go Habs GO!

37. Bill Guerin has a philosophy he is using to assemble Team USA. Hutson doesn't fit his vision of what a winning defence looks like. I hope he is wrong as the Olympics are not usually a physical tournament.
    The Canadiens do not need old man Kadri. If Hughes is inquiring about Kadri it is for gathering information on what the market is at this time. I think Hughes probably "kicks tires" on any possible trade so he knows what it is likely to cost to improve the team.
