I don’t want to assume the worst but it’s hard to find a lot of exciting points about this hire. Some reasons to be positive and we’ll have to see if he is actually as bad as Atlanta fans say

Of all the candidates out there this was certainly one of them.
I despise the hiring of any divisional opponents. Especially this low talent bottom feeding division. Strictly a money saving move with fingers crossed.

What you aren’t excited about Bowles/Robinson 1-2 punch!?
Well supposedly he was pretty hamstrung by having a QB who couldn’t even take snaps from under center. Let’s hope he’s the guy we wanted him to be a couple years ago and that he and baker can make magic.
I’m not excited but we’ll see.
Probably our best option given our options. That said, not sure why we didn’t kick the tires more on Kingsbury or Joe Brady

Don’t want to defend it but with us keeping Bowles and our desire for someone experienced with play calling I don’t think there was much more out there. We clearly pushed hard for Mcdaniel and he said nah and Monken seems pretty set to either be a HC or with the giants, sure we could’ve looked at a young guy but after Grizzard I get not wanting that.
Would’ve preferred Callahan, but I also wanted us to keep Bowles so I guess I’m just a big dumb dipshit
Gentleman we dodged Brian Callahan, I like this guy in interviews. I know we all need to have a forever hate boner for this team right now according to a lot of people, but I just can’t muster it up. Where ever next season will bring us I’ll be there firing them cannons.

I’m not mad at it. He has actual experience running an offense. McVey coaching tree so likely some similarities to Coen. I don’t think anyone was thrilled with his performance in ATL but outside of Bijan it was hard for him to get his playmakers the ball. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes but overall I do think this is an upgrade from Grizzard and Baker is probably happy with it.
Watch this dude ball out with baker and our WR core. Hopefully OL stays healthy this year and draft an actual good TE and Robinson may surprise us.
I have no faith in Todd Bowles. Once lose the locker room hard to come back from that.
