  1. I’d do it only if it cost us picks that are from this year, I’m not giving any prospect or futures. If I’m Yzerman I’d rather want Lafreniere from the Rangers, he’s younger, has more potential and signed long term.

  2. I mean, they can put Panarin with Kane and Copp. Bump Cat to the first line.

That will be a filthy top 6

But Panarin is older and might cost decent amount, especially if he might not re-sign

  3. Kane's line is their best line. By a lot. Panarin would presumably be for Larkin-Raymond.

But none of it matters as long as Kane remains stranded on PP2 absurdly, which has ruined him and his 5v5 line – and the power play. And if they got Panarin this scumbag coach would probably have a top unit that had both Cat and Panarin on it but no Kane. Which – you have never seen tanking like the tanking Kane would do if that happened.

This coach is a Babcock protege who had a great thing fall in his lap w the Copp Cat Kane line and has completely ruined it, maybe permanently, all to screw over Kane as he approached a record.

  4. The wings have 7 full strength goals combined over the last 4 seasons. I don't see any value in another soft aged out power play merchant, they have a full roster of those.

  5. If the cost isn't a lot, I'd do it. He would give you a dynamic player that can help. But yeah what's the cost and would he want to go to Detroit? Full NMC so he gets to pick where he wants to go and if a true contender wants him and can afford his cap hit, why would he go to Detroit. They aren't winning the Cup. They have some other needs as well so I'd go D first and then see what you can do at forward.

  6. Sign him to a HUGE long term contract!!! We all see how well these HUGE long term contracts work on most players πŸ™‚ meaning, so many end up being bust.

  7. No. It makes 0 sense for the team. You cant put Kane Debrincat and Panarin on a line together. What we need is a center that fits our timeline. If we cant get that, we wont be doing a damn thing.

  8. I would get zegras which we should have gotten to begin with in a trade, him centering Kane and Cat would be superb. Zeg man has 19 goals thus far and i think he would stand out, but it will cost the Wings prospects and a pick. As for D man, I'd go after which once was a rumor Jacob Trouba whose contract expires after this season. Those are the two tweaks that needs to happen at Trade deadline. I wouldn't miss any sleep if Daniels, Elmer and Kasper are included in that trade.
