  1. I mean, this is Myles Garrett’s award no matter who is a finalist, but they are:

    * Will Anderson Jr. (HOU)
    * Nik Bonitto (DEN)
    * Myles Garrett (CLE)
    * Aidan Hutchinson (DET)
    * Micah Parsons (GB)

  2. It was always gonna be a race for second place with Myles Garrett having the year he did, but man. I’m still just in disbelief we got Micah, even all this time later

  3. Garrett will get this but still good to have him named. Next year, if there’s a good bookend on the other side of Micah, he is going for that record.

  4. It’s gonna be Myles Garrett, but the recognition is nice. He’ll get it one of these years.

  5. For sure Myles wins it, but that’s an large attestation to how good he is when he misses the last 1/4 of the season and had a slow ramp up to start.

  6. Prior to this year and in the last 4 seasons, Garrett was averaging about 15 sacks.

    Warning, lots of if’s coming…if Garrett doesn’t go bonkers this year and has his normal season, and if Micah doesn’t get hurt, Micah probably gets at least 2 more sacks, and I think he wins DPOY this year. Micah commanded more double and triple teams and had more pressures than Garrett.

    Back to reality, Garrett wins and it’s good to see new names to the list like Will and Nik.

  7. I love Micah, but its Garrett’s

    He broke the official sack record and tied the unofficial sack record. (Before anyone says *17 gAmEs*, no one truly cares)
