Grizzlies should ride out the storm after Ja Morant says he wants to stay in Memphis

Man if we were talking about someone’s marriage I don’t think this would be seen this way. Dude let us down for years and threatened to leave, found out bedrooms are a lot harder to get into in the real world and is coming back begging. Dude bought a mansion in Miami…
Hes had some good performances. Not gonna deny that. A sorry husband cooks a mean steak. Nothing that rises to the level of overcoming all the data I have.
We can’t let him go, what if he actually meant it when he said he wouldn’t show us his lips nomoe
I think Ja needs to play the rest of the season without any serious injuries before any team will actually offer up a good enough deal to make moving him really worth it.
What will tell us if Ja wants to stay or not is how his extension plays out.
If he pushes for a max with his history then he won’t be happy when the team doesn’t do that. If he asks for a team friendly deal (due to his history) then that will show people he wants to be a Grizzly.
Our Front office is garbage, knows we can’t attract talent being smaller market so they alienate the players they draft? I’ve seen enough, time for a new GM
Every local reporter who’s around the team is acting like a deal is already in place. Really weird contrast between local and national reports
