What’s interesting about this list is most of those on the same list like Dyson, Rudy, the Thompsons, Mobley and Giannis are stellar on defense. Clowney is average at best there
The worst part has a caveat. It’s the worst perimeter shooter. It’s counting treys and long 2s.
I mean Giannis is list as 2.
Boston is the ideal. They’re the second best offense, even without Tatum, off elite shooting and low turnovers. It’s just 3pt shot making talent and mistake free high IQ basketball. Stack that archetype and they amplify.
I love Egor because he fits this mold. MPJ obviously does too. The rest of the roster is God awful in these categories though. Throw the bag at Colin Gillespie this summer. Egor/Gillespie/MPJ around this lotto pick is good offensive infrastructure.
Clowney being ahead of The Thompson Twins shocked me, I know it’s mostly because of volume but still shocked me.
Clowney part not surprising considering he just sits on the perimeter chucking up 3 after 3 after 3 even when he’s only made like 2 of 9
Clowney needs to figure it out soon he only has 1 more year after this. We’ve seen him be able to rebound, score, defend, but its never all in the same game.
Would be a lot better to see the numbers for the season MPJ would be a lot higher I’d assume
The clear issue is that his volume is way too high, only players like MPJ or KD at that size are shooting efficiently at that insane of volume. He needs to cut down on the 3’s and go for a more diverse offensive game. He looked great driving earlier this season and was drawing calls at an insane rate.

It’s either a processing or stamina issue.
