ACE UP THEIR SLEEVE: Giants COULD Reignite Framber Valdez Talks | Bryce Eldridge Addresses RUMORS

Bryce Eldridge finally addressed the trade rumors — and his message to Giants fans was loud and clear. Speaking at Fan Fest, the Giants’ top power prospect said he wants to be in San Francisco for the long haul, pushing back on speculation that his name could be moved as the offseason drags on. We break down Eldridge’s candid comments, his wrist surgery recovery, and why what he played through last season actually raises his ceiling going forward. Plus, we zoom out to the bigger picture: are the Giants still willing to spend more, or are they approaching another wait-and-see stretch? With multiple Giants prospects landing in Baseball America’s Top 100, more names coming off the free-agent board, and major moves happening elsewhere — including Cody Bellinger returning to the Yankees and Freddy Peralta landing with the Mets — the contrast between patience and urgency has never felt sharper.

  1. As a fan, it’s frustrating that the Giants didn’t do much this offseason. However, I’ve still embraced this team. The roster is talented enough to compete for one of the wild-card spots, and I’m hopeful that Tony Vietollo can bring out the best in the Giants.

    Go Giants!

  2. I dunno, Manaea, Wood, and Stripling got really mad when they were signed to start then got booted to the bullpen afterwards. Sure you can blame them on not performing, but from a players perspective it's because the team did not put them in a position to succeed, and in Manaea's case when he did succeed they decided to not start him anyway. If players and agents don't trust our word then how can we be expected to sign anybody? People crap on how Farhan treated players and how the Snell contract bit us in the ass so why do it again?

  3. To the fans pushing the narrative that Giants aren't willing to spend… the Giants matched the Ohtani deal, but he didn't want to play for them. They are willing to spend if the player warrants doing so.

  4. Giants won’t do any major signings they could have signed Imai for Pennie’s and didn’t…. Same old Giants, always bargain basement shopping, so sad and upsetting being a Giants fan.

  5. This is still my team and has been for decades. But man, what a slow and disappointing off-season. Too many other good teams have made good additions while the Giants have done almost nothing.

  6. WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS? We aren't going to sign Valdez. This front office has made it clear it doesn't plan to compete.. We'll probably have a few non roster invitees but nothing more. We need to move on!

  7. Giants are not doing squat. I think they are just anticipating a lockout and will just do nothing. Giants are pathetic. Will not spend any money. Almost worse then not having it.

  8. Lots of disgruntled fans in the comments lately.
Can’t say that I find any fault in their displeasure, thankfully this offseason is coming to a close.
Right now the Giants organization is looking like they’re going to just sustain as is and continue with mediocre baseball.
