Thank God he was. What solidified his legacy for me was the defense he inherited from Romeo and what he turned it into, ending with a ranking of 31st his final season as DC. His final season gave me flash backs of the Chief’s defense during the Vermeil days.

Plenty to be said about the AFCCG but if you get an even average defensive performance they’re going to the SB and probably winning. Brutal.

what’s crazy is if Bob Sutton had down a halfway decent job, we would have never gotten Spags and probably would have only had a one-off Superbowl win.
We sacrificed the game against the Pats with Fords offsidesto get rid of him and win 3 SBs with Spags.
