The Stroud Wars are Upon Us!

  1. Alright fuck it, I’m on the keep stroud side.  3 playoff wins in 3 years isn’t so bad or something.

And I’m going to defend this take until the divisional round next year.

  2. Could I have a flair for

“I dunno, he’s probably not the guy but moving on from him now would be reactionary because all of the options we could get to replace him have just as many or more question marks and there are other more qb needy teams with more cap space / draft capital that we’d have to outbid so we should just bring him back for next year and if he has another year like this one let him go to free agency”?

  3. Unpopular take but even if Stroud is good next season, we will always find a way to lose in the divisional round.

No excuses for not making the SB this year when your only roadblock in the playoffs was the year 2 pats. It will never be this easy again

  4. I’d just like a qb who doesn’t have five turn over a game in the playoffs. Why is that so much to ask

  5. It’s not a matter of sides, it’s a matter of watching the inevitable play out. His confidence is absolutely shattered and he will continue his downward trend into mediocrity. He’s not a leader, he’s not a motivator, he’s not a perfectionist. He never was. How can he demand improvement from anyone in the organization? He has no basis to lead the Texans offense.

My guess Nick signs him for something reasonable and he gets benched by week 7 anyway.

Best course of action is to trade him and move on. He’s literally wasting everyone’s time and energy. He will not be “competitive” next season.

Honestly, he needs to go back to California, open a ministry somewhere and leave this football stuff behind. It’s what he really wants to do anyway.
