Holy shit this offseason went by quickly. LFG
I might go down to Florida this year for the first time for spring training. I friggin love this club so much, man.
I didn’t realize Carter was around for the first rebrand.
Very happy about the pitching additions, but I still feel like there’s an offensive void that needs to be filled.
Okamoto can’t be expected to replace Bo in his first season outside of Japan. There will be a long adjustment period, and it is a very real possibility that he has a bad season in 2026.
Springer repeating what he did last year is also uncertain. We also can’t just expect Clement and Barger to reproduce their postseason performances over an entire season.
Santander is a wild card, and he is very low contact. I don’t want to rely on a guy who only hits bombs but can’t consistently put the ball in play. We’ve seen how that approach fails in the postseason, and this team’s winning formula is totally different.
