This anxiety is killing me. I wonder what’s taking so long?

I fail to see the punishment in this.
At least we aren’t tracking his flights like we did with Harbaugh.
As a Mizzou fan, Chase Daniel has prepared me well for this moment.

Positive: there hasn’t been any reports he’s having “buys remorse” and hasn’t been linked to any other HC spots (that we know of), hasn’t had any 2nd HC interviews. I wonder if he’s waiting on Buffalo?
Negative: It’s the chargers and somehow we might ‘Charger this’
The reason why it’s taking so long is because Spanos Hortiz and Harbaugh are currently working on getting the Bolt, and the Chargers sideline at Sofi to become non-enforcement zones regarding Californias vape ban.

Side note, congrats on hiring him. He’s a good coach, great offensive mind, and a great human being. Hopefully he brings the best out of Herbert. My only concern with him—which may be less important since he’s not a head coach—is that he tends to ramble A LOT, like he speaks so long and says very little. Just the way his brain works I guess, but I have a hard time believing that young football players don’t tune him out.
I have a sick feeling we’re not getting him. Saw something on twitter saying he’s still interested in the Raiders gig.

I just saw Ted Nguyen tweet that McDaniels is in the running for the Raiders HC job. McDaniel’s #1 priority is coaching somewhere warm/hot sunny and has a big nightlife. Miami had that, LA has that but Las Vegas also has that. If Las Vegas gives him the HC job he will unfortunately take it. That’s why he hasn’t signed yet. He’s basically using us as leverage for the Raiders job. I hope I’m wrong but if this is indeed the case, this is probably his plan all along. F U McDaniel’s if you take the Vegas job!!!
