He’s absolutely right. I watched a bunch of his highlights on the official NBA Youtube channel and saw so many fouls that would have been called for him. And nobody could stay in front of this man, imagine him drawing multiple defenders and kicking out to guys trained to just shoot 3s. He’s right, and he also brings up D. Rose, and that’s right too.
I mean people have made whole videos about how offenses this season and in recent memory are allowed to just do whatever they want. This is the logical conclusion of that.
Eh shooting is more important than ever. Having a non shooting pg just doesnt work.

I wish I can watch him on TV again. I recently rewatched his highlights I can only imagine what he would be like in today’s NBA.
If only he took the game more seriously. Could have been great. But he came into multiple seasons out of shape which ultimately led to injury. Huge what if unfortunately.
