  3. Овечкин конечно крут не поспоришь, но в этом сезоне он очень плохо перемещается по площадке если честно походка иногда отдает стариком как ни крути , а Малкин весьма не плох может он не пьет пиво поэтому?

  4. Jarry's horrible position on that second goal let you know he was going to have one of his games. His D did not do him any favors, but he still always gets himself in bad postions.

  16. For a Pens fan, this was a masterpiece. One of the best games they've played so far. Based on their recent record vs the Oilers, I came into this one thinking I'd be happy if we came away with a point. What a pleasant surprise.
    The Oilers would have given themselves a much better chance had they pulled Jarry after the 3 goals on the first 3 shots of the game. This was something he had a habit of doing every game last season without fail. Almost every game, he'd give up a goal on the first shot or two.
    Also want to add, Crosby is the all time master of the deflection. There's a great video on YT that shows his career highlights of his deflections. Just search "Sidney Crosby Master of the Deflection"…the video is from 8 years ago and he's added countless more since. A lot of players can deflect shots from right in front of the net. Sid can be almost anywhere within a 15 feet or so radius of the net and deflect it right on.

  23. Yeah, Oilers management should be ashamed. This team has no depth, it walked out the door with Corey Perry to the LA Kings. When the first line can’t carry them, they get blown out like this. With this kind of team play, it doesn’t matter who’s in net. Skinner was never a problem. But hey, at least they’ve locked in a $20M Bouchard and Nurse experience.

  24. The defense was brutal as hell, and so was Jarry he had a 727 sv% and let in 6 goals. I don't get why people think there is only one reason why anytime they lose; two things can be true at the same time.

  25. So, which goalie is next in the trade line for the Oilers? It's been the defence all along. Although that Crosby redirect was nasty, how are you even supposed to defend that kind of skill.

  30. McDavid didn't even try to make a play at all when Malkin stole the puck from him. Didnt even look back to cover the pens player that was coming either 🤦‍♀️ Same thing he did a few years ago when Crosby did the same thing to him TWICE in back to back games, (Crosby scored both times, one was the OT game winner) he just gives up. Not an all around player thats for sure

  33. I've seen vids of Crosby practicing deflections, hence the unreal 3rd goal. The quintessential broken record: pathetic defense and turnovers. And McD took a hometown discount for this effing mess!

  34. Hey Oilers what happened you wanted better goalies so, you got rid of Skinner and, Skinner won 6 of his last 7 games, so tell me? Do you think we have a defence problem? No matter who Oilers put in net they are not consistent their goalies need to stand on their headto try and win a game, I believe Oilers need a new coach Knobs has gone stale and their defence needs change. They are definitely nowheres near a contending team ,that lake has definitely dried up, all I hear is Oilers salary cap is busted well, they have 2 defenseman that make our 20 million combined , for starters Nurse needs to go and possibly another defenseman on trade and use this move to pick up some younger solid defenseman.Because right now McDavids contract is dwindling down and he definitely won't stay for the next at this rate of performance and Im definitely seeing a team mismanaged. I believe Oilers need to do something soon or their boat hole is gonna get bigger to sink faster, no team is stellar if they keep giving up 5 plus goals a game, most of their blow outs have been on their home ice , fans are going to grow tired eventually seei g no results to correct any team and or management issues!

  46. Hey sportsnet, I pay for a subscription. Stop blacking out games. When I pay for a set of channels how is it fair that you can turn them off. I won’t renew if this doesn’t change.
