  1. Ben Johnson definitely deserves an "A" and like you mentioned he has it right, every year you start from zero. There are two key areas in which he surpassed expectations, scheming based on the talent on the team, and player development, as seen by the back ups coming in and playing when injuries occurred. A good coach makes a GM/Personnel/scouts look better, not that one gets more credit over the other. Majority of the time he also had good in-game management and half-time adjustments.

  2. It's refresing to hear someone speak accurately about Spring Ball from the players' perspective… I remember making a jump during Freshman Springball, and played well during our exhibition scrimmage at the end of spring practice… I'm just happy we are taking a solid approach, aligned with young talent at key roles…

  3. I don't like the fact Ben was there in Detroit and then repeated it in the Rams game. Why don't you take the lead … The game is to have the lead when it ends. That first quarter… If Ben takes the FG …. The entire game changes. 😊 Period!

  4. Couple of mistakes and questionable coaching decisions…. If Ben can tighten up his decisions, and Caleb can learn to throw short passes to get first downs and keep ball possession, then yeah – the future is bright.
