  27. It's odd how so many people in the comments section are bashing Pat Leonard. Haven't we all been bashing this team for over a decade as they've been consistently terrible? Sure, he has been pessimistic but we've all been. In fact, it's kind of just being real. He's a good Giants analyst and you'll start to hear more positive things from him as they start winning again with Harbaugh.

  37. Carton is 100% wrong when he says we have the 4th best quarterback and the 4th best roster in the division. He is 100% wrong. Penciling in the redskins because they had 1 good season with the new coach is a ridiculous assessment. It's the same assessment as saying after the giants went to the playoffs 1st year that we were better than the eagles cause that year they sucked That makes no sense at all Also the cowboys defense is so bad and so bad And so bereft of talent that you cannot say the cowboys are better than the giants. There They are not better than the giants. The eagles are better than the giants that's a guarantee But at least when we played them earlier in the year we were competitive with them and that is the truth.

  44. I've been a Giants fan since 1963 when they lost to the Bears in the NFL Championship game and one thing that was constant then as it is now was the loyalty of Wellington Mara. The Giants were a lousy team from '64 to '79 because Wellington was too loyal to people who couldn't get the job done. That created the conflict between him and Tim Mara and lead to Pete Rozelle getting involved and recommending George Young to run things. Now John has taken after his father and while they didn't need Roger Goodell to step in Jim Harbaugh has become George Young. Joe Schoen may or may not last but the shift in organizational operation is 1979 like all over again. We'll see if the Super Bowls that followed then will also follow now.
