2. Last year's Chiefs would stomp this AFC spread lol but I'll be honest, im not greedy others can win as well, also the hatred for my team weights on me a bit.. im excited for a top 10 draft pick 😅

3. Chiefs fan here . Hell yeah we miss being in the playoffs. That guy is not a real chiefs fan whoever said that. BOOOOO to that guy. 💯we will be back with a vengeance!!!!

4. the Chiefs are my team. However its like baking a cake and bringing it to the party, if your cake sucks and no one wants to eat it it's an embarrassment. the yummy creme filling has turned moldy. hopefully they can bring it next year.

7. Lifetime 62 years old Chiefs fan. Of course we miss them in the playoffs! However, those of us who truly appreciate the Chiefs and endured 50 years without a meaningful playoff run (not counting Montana’s head bashed to oblivion in Buffalo losing AFC championship game) we truly understand that ONE year picking 9th is probably NOT a bad idea especially the timing with Mahomes ACL. Mahomes has been incredible including staying healthy enough to play and win. Missing ONE year is worth a second dynasty run in the Mahomes era. We need to have a very productive 2026 draft!

8. KC dynasty ain't over yet. They're allowed to miss the playoffs/SBs for 1 season just like TB12 who missed after his very 1st SB or you can't count that as a dynasty (he had 2 dynasties). If KC misses next season, then the dynasty is over. This is just a big hiccup right now.
   Yes, I do miss KC in the playoffs. Stafford is the last of the great QBs left in the layoffs. Please QB1 Stafford, you our only hope.
   (Yes, I had to put that in somewhere).

9. As upset as I am that we missed it, it is very needed for the team to have a long term success. I think the things we shake up and the draft capital we have if done right can set us up for another decade

12. Chiefs fan since 1989, not long after I moved here as a teenager. I remember the lean years. I remember the success but no reward years. I have been a gracious winner as well as a gracious loser. I have reveled in our success and over the years have converted many friends around the country to at least cheering the Chiefs on when not playing their favorite.
    For me this year, I'm disappointed. I saw it coming but the injury to Mahomes was a bitter pill.
    I'm going through chemo this postseason into spring, so my enjoyment would not have been as high to be entirely honest. I'm enjoying the games, anxiety free. I am also soaking up all of the offseason moves we're making and I believe that direction is spot on so far.
    I'm also an optimistic homer! So let's regroup, refocus, and hit 'em in the mouth this next season. I am looking to make the most of the upcoming days, and I hope the Chiefs play a big role in that. Love your show!

    I can honestly say I am truly enjoying these games because there's no stress.

    Having mahomes blow his tendon actually makes it easy to accept that we were a disaster.
    And that there alot of mediocre teams going to the playoffs.

    It's EZ to say, man if we could have made the playoffs we could have beat these teams and got another ring.

    But knowing we would have had a 3rd string QB leading the way
    Because of mahomes knee ends that kind of thinking.

    That is all.

14. Not one of the real ones. These playoffs felt off to me I've seen every playoff game in the NFL since 1993. They were definitely missed.

20. As a KC fan it is humbling not having all the success we had, but damn it sucks, nothing great about it.

21. Ive been a diehard Chiefs fan since 89. I was disappointed they didn't make the playoffs, but I've now accepted it. I didn't even want to watch the playoffs, but I can now. There is a sense of relief knowing that the Chiefs can't lose in the AFC championship or SB.

23. This playoff is so much more enjoyable as a Chiefs fan. No stress, I can just appreciate football. Also, I love it that the Bills went to play the Broncos and somehow the Chiefs emerged the winner of that game! Hahahahaahha.

25. The reason why I believe this is because , They played horrible in every game and the were Still all close games . And the one game they played ok in was against the Lions and they beat them senseless and they were the only team to do that to the Lions. Tell me this isn't true.

26. I feel like the entire playoffs has felt less intense, less legitimate without the big bad wolf in it.. there have been 38 turnovers so far, THIRTY EIGHT!!!! that's insane!!!! It's been sloppy, undisciplined, gross football. People can whine and hate them and be sick of them or whatever — the NFL needs the Chiefs back. This has been pathetic. Have there been some cool moments? Even some really good games?? Of course! But it hasn't felt as heavy. I'm not near as compelled as I would be knowing the big final boss fight was waiting in the next round.

27. I mean yes it would have been a cake walk but big picture is. Mahomes needs a break, so it's a good thing. We'll always take a championship but again we'll take the break.

30. Chiefs fan here. I was eating your preseason pick of the Chiefs making the Super Bowl with a 15-2 record. These playoffs are dull to all us Chiefs fans. But I can only imagine how QB Jackson, Burrow feel watching as well. 😆🤣😆🤣

32. no real chiefs fan is worried about not making the playoffs when #15 went down. we have a top 10 draft pick for the first time in 10 years. some things needed to change and are currently. giving the team 1 year off from the playoffs is great for their health which is the main reason we didnt make it this year. saying otherwise is kinda dumb.

33. Chiefs fan here from Japan. The team this year did not deserve to be in the playoffs and I don't mind it all. I want a Chiefs team that dominates, not this team. They got stuck in their ways and it is time to rebuild. They will be there next year. This year I get to sleep more.

35. There's a weird nostalgia with not being in the post season. Growing up, that was just how it was. Still wish they made it, but us chiefs fans just got a decade of greatness.

36. My wife and my Chiefs fan self have honestly really enjoyed having a January of weekends for once. But that's just me, and I'm not complaining about my team blasting through the playoffs normally either.
