I’m watching 2012 and 2014 playoff highlights, since we have nothing better going for us currently. Then I noticed a hilarious detail.
In the 2012 conference finals, we played phoenix who has a whiteout, **WHILE THE KINGS WERE WEARING WHITE**!
To top things off, they had the most corny phrase in all of sports “Beat LA”. Not “Go Coyotes”, not “Go Phoenix”, not even “2012 Western conference finals”. Truly hilarious, especially after being a Dodgers fan for so many years and seeing other rivals literally make their own merchandise with the phrase, only to watch us go on to become a dynasty.
Anyways, this is why the Coyotes are no longer a franchise. No other explanation necessary.
Fire Hiller, go Dodgers, and GKG!

So brutal the franchise had to move and start over
2012 was the first time I’ve watched the Stanley Cup Playoffs
Man they were at each others throats especially after Browns knee on knee collision with Rosival. That really got under their skin because they ended up losing it all after that
I remembered the following season when the social media team was extra sassy with the final score graphics the time they played each other back to back. The first game was a shutout against the Yotes and they put “No one” under the Coyotes. Then the next night only Shan Doan scored in another loss to the Kings and the social media team put “Some Guy” under the Yotes 💀
My guy Phoenix doesn’t exist as a team anymore for now
I hope Shane Doan and his wife can bring the team back
Ahhhhh good ‘ol Pancakes
Phx is now Seattle and they have helped bump us out of a playoff place.
That 2012 Conference Finals is probably my least favorite playoff series where the Kings won. I appreciate the intensity that was there, but that series just got dirty quick. Not to mention how game 5 ended with fans trashing the ice and players refusing to participate in the handshake line. Compare that to the 2014 WCF with Chicago, and it’s night and day which was the better intense series.
Are you drunk?
“Beat LA” was a slogan used against our teams for years before this series. Opposing fans have been using this as the anti-Dodger rally cry for decades. Be flattered by it
