Yes none of us knew about him till yesterday, but I would run through a wall for this fu**in guy after watching this. He's gives the emotion our HC desperately needs after wet blanket “It’s on me, I gotta do better” Gannon. No idea if he’d be a good head coach but he seems like a guy players respect and he’s had success everywhere he’s gone. I dont think it’s that bad a call. At least in his first meeting, we know this guy won’t take the bus to get there.

Being a head coach of an NFL team is becoming less and less about emotional themed motivation every year. It’s mostly about strategy, organization, being a good judge of character and competence in your coaching staff, and your ability to lead them, not the players. That will lead to success, which in turn will lead to the players wanting to follow you. Bill Belichick was one of the least charasmatic coaches of all time, but was a GD genius when it came to efficiency of how he managed his coaching staff and game strategy. Players knew that, so they would follow him anywhere.

Cursing 900 times in 90 seconds doesn’t make you a good coach. Give me someone with an actual proven track record of winning. NFL players respect that a lot more. Name one top NFL head coach you think talks to his team like that
