  1. Wait, just the other day you guys said it looked like the Chargers dodged losing Minter, now today you’re saying, “of course we lost him”? I’m confused. I get you can’t control the future, but you led us to believe that it wasn’t happening, and now you’re acting like it was fait accompli.

  4. I think this works out. Minter will keep that Ravens -Chargers connection intact. I’d rather Minter to Ravens than him going to the Raiders.

  10. The Ravens will be taking some of our coaches, but doubt they will be taking players like Oweh or K Mack…they need to resign their own players first, and don't have the cap space. DC wise, I think continuity of the current system is the ideal, it will make more sense for Jesse to take Elston as his DC, so will have to see whether coach Klink is up to a promotion, or whether we need to get someone else? Let hope there is no drop off after Minter, because if our offense balls out with McDaniel, he will be gone next season as well…regardless, our Super Bowl window is open, so hope we can stay healthy and moving up…

  15. I think if we don't promote Clink to DC he's going to give Jesse a call( if they haven't talked about it yet) he's going to end up as the Ravens DC. We can't afford to lose him also. So the quicker Jim makes him the DC the better off we'll be.

  16. Maybe Mike was waiting to see if Jesse stayed before he signed the contract. I hope he doesn't change his mind because of that but I guess we'll see. Losing Jesse we know was going to hurt real bad because of how he turned our pathetic defense into a very good defense. Now we just hope whoever's going to be our DC, if it's someone that's not already here, will maintain our defense at the level it's at now.

  17. You guys are wrong! Minter defense was not as good as you make it seem! When it counted against good offenses they blew! Manilla Zone ball! This is good news Chargers need someone more aggressive! The players are the big difference!

  18. To much gloom & doom. The Ravens if nothing else, have always had a solid defense. Its the offense on that team that needed a new direction. Coach Harbaugh will figure this out, just sign the guys that need to be signed. All coaches need players, keep the good ones we currently have from getting away.

  20. This isn’t a surprise. There should have been a plan in place since the end of last season. It’s a shame he’s walking away from his best opportunity to have Super Bowl Champion on his resume. And that’s something that may never come again.

  21. I respect you guys, but you guys are kind of Debbie downer right now I understand Jessie Minter was a great coach, but to think that our defense is not competent enough to stand up without Jessie Minter is pretty messed up coming from fans

  26. Jesse stunk it up against Liam 2x Steichen the giants and the commanders. I mean stunk it up. I don’t think these teams even punted during those games.

I do think Minter is an amazing DC but he did have some games this year where our D got their ass beat so I dont know if he will have the same success on the Ravens if the rumors are true that they will trade the QB for the #1 pick this year….also that Minter will choose Greg Roman as his OC 😅
