Can I get the transcript for someone who doesn’t want to download the app?
You don’t need to download the app – but Thielen has a lot of great things to say about both Bryce and the current organization.
Also implies there were a lot of butting heads in the offensive room around coaches at certain points – presumably during Bryce’s rookie year.
He’s a class act
Definitely glad to hear he had confidence in our organizations leadership
Bring him on staff as a WR coach!!
To summarize:
He says he fully supports Bryce and is very confident in him.
Said he was actually going to retire at the end of 2024, but came back specifically because of Bryce and the leadership and direction of the organization. He said there was no thought in his mind about going elsewhere. (this flies in the face of the people who still try to say he forced his way out to go to Minnesota).
He acknowledges the adversity, from Bryce personally, from midseason coaching shake ups and a mess of an offense. Alludes to the offensive coaches in 2023 battling each other in the offensive room.
The most interesting part was him saying the offensive coaches battling each other in the Reich era. Had heard rumblings of that but never from a players mouth.
It would be so awesome to drink a few beers with some of these guys and heat them really speak openly about some of this stuff lol.
