  1. No the dude is a cry baby and a locker room cancer, besides why would Dallas let him go he had a killer year

  2. If for some unforeseen reason he doesn’t want a huge payday, then obviously I’d be stoked to have him. In our current situation I would rather just keep Deebo and pick up Likely/Pitts, then get some cheaper depth pieces at WR.

2024 was enough for me to believe that Jayden doesn’t need to be surrounded by superstar talent to ball out, he just needs more than 1 receiver at a time that can get open. There are cheaper options than Pickens to do that.

  3. Personally, if we’re going to sign a contract for like $30m/year, I don’t think Pickens is the guy for it. He’s talented, and I’m not one who always acts like a football team should avoid guys just because I don’t like their personality, but I don’t see his impact on the field being worth it for that cost.

  4. Dallas is never gonna let him walk. Jerry will do whatever he possibly can to keep him around even if it’s via Franchise Tag.

On the remote, tiny off chance Jones does let Pickens walk? Maybe? I wouldn’t be angry if we did, but I wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t. He’s an absurdly talented player. If his head was screwed on straight, he’d be probably top 5. But He’s also a massive head case and he tends to crash out when he’s having a bad game.

Honestly I’d want to put something in his contract about having mandatory weekly therapy sessions for mental health (or keeping it going if he already does) but he’d either never agree to it or would just go somewhere that doesn’t require it.

  5. I do hope we make a run at him we need good young receivers and maybe he can learn a thing or two from Terry.
