  1. Tua is gone, whether he rides the bench this year and is officially cut next offseason, or they make it work with the cap and cut him this year.
One of my favorite parts of the press conference today was the new GM saying that they plan on taking a shot (which doesn't necessarily mean a 1st rounder) at the QB position every year – if not every other year – until they find THE GUY.
Since 2000, MIA has drafted 9 QBs total, 2 of which were Tannehill in '12, then Tua 8 years later – not exactly enough to come close to reasonably replacing Marino (Ewers has a limited ceiling imo, though he could be an adequate enough starter for '26).

  2. Terron played with Tua and believes in him. He knows this team was terrible, and no qb was going to play well there. He Knows Tua will be better on a good team and good coach elsewhere

  3. Why nobody wants to say tuna was hurt the whole season after so many multiple concussions he's not the same player no and he can't deliver when he plays time to move on he did his best he had his opportunity time to open a new chapter🎉

  4. After the new GM basically said, We are going to be passively aggressive in free agency and "we are going to draft a QB every yr or every other yr" those comments tell me that Tua is done in Miami. Also, a way to largely burden the cap hit of cutting Tua outright or leaving him on the bench while paying him all that money, is to trade him to the Cardinals for Kyler Murray because the Cardinals are in basically the same cap situation and qb fit for scheme situation as the Dolphins are with Tua. This situation would presumably be only for cap reasons, unless either organization thinks the other qb could be worth the trade also as a starter. I'm not saying either team wants the other team's cast-off qb but by trading the 2 qb's 1 for 1, it would reduce the cap hit for both organizations by Millions! Neither team's cap hit would exceed 15 million. Don't quote me, but if im correct, the Cardinals cap hit would be no more than 13 million and the Dolphins cap hit would be no more than 15 million, if this trade were to happen. Neither team I suppose would be interested in either qb as their Franchise guy, but getting rid of the problem on each team while not having to pay almost 100 million to cut them or pay them just to sit the bench is a no brainer. Tua could be cut by the Cardinals post June or even after the season and Kyler would be easy to move on from the Dolphins as well. Just my thoughts on the situation.

    WHAT SAY YOU???

  5. There going to hold onto tua based on his massive contract but he will not see the field. If he ever sees the field again it will be with another team. But why I said he won’t see the field is because they don’t want any more injuries. If that happens he’s not a viable trade. That being said Malik Willis is there best option but what will cost the phins? And if that’s not an option wait until the draft and select a quarterback in the later rounds and you never know it might be a home run. No matter what this coming year will be a wash out. At the very least Quinn ewers will play and that will be an issue until they can actually get a starter.

  6. Idgaf who they sign their franchise is in either this draft or next year's … The GM already confirmed that's his approach.. draft a QB every year until they find a true franchise player. He said he is not drafting based on need. He wants the best player on the board every pick
