Romeo Doubs and Wan’Dale Robinson: two sensible WRs the New York Jets should target

  1. Wasn’t Doubs kind of a pain in the Packers ass a season or two ago cause he wasn’t getting the ball? I swear I thought I remember them suspending him at one point due to his behavior.

If that’s true, then I would say lets pass and go for Robinson.

We don’t need any headaches in the locker room.

Odds are we aren’t going to have a real QB1 to reliably get him the ball.

If what I just said is horse shit and not true, then I’m good with either guy.

Doubs and Robinson are both good.

  2. I’m honestly good with both of these. I don’t view either as a high end WR2 though. But definitely upgrades.

  3. I think Doubs or Alec Pierce would be a good fit since they’re both X receivers and let Wilson move around in the formations freely

  4. We don’t even have a QB to throw to either of them. And besides, would players be interested in playing for Woody??? Voted worst owner last season??

  5. I personally don’t know enough about Robinson to have an opinion but I like Doubs a lot

  6. Doubs…I would like some sort of game incentive contract because he has missed a number of games the last few years.

  7. Sure, sign one of these or Alec Pierce and use one of your top 3 draft picks to draft another wide receiver and all of a sudden you’ve got a pretty solid room.

  8. Doubs would be an amazing get. He has great hands (except against the bears) and seems to always make the catch. Very reliable player that would fit nicely as a #2 to GW

  9. AD Mitchell is here already. Why take reps away from someone like him? Those guys are not that much better. Not worth it.

  10. Help me understand. Why would they want to come play for the Jets? Unless it’s a massive overpay, I’m guessing they would prefer to play for a team that has good coaches and maybe a QB on the roster.

  11. Doubs SUX, no consistent hands and he quits on plays when it gets tough – hard NO on him or AJ Brown – as he’s just a cancer. Robinson is just too short! LOL

  12. Doubs seems like a natural fit with his size, physicality, and ability to get contested catches. We don’t have that kind of guy. Wan’dale seems like pretty much slot-only which I’m not crazy about, considering you want GW to play out of there a decent percentage of the time. I like Pierce but I see a lot of overlap between he and AD, and the way Engstrand uses his field stretchers, I’m not so sure AD doesn’t give you production close to Pierce who is probably going to be much more expensive
