  1. Todd Haley was and has always been a dick. What a joke of a head coach to have his feelings hurt that easily. 

  2. This kind of stuff makes me wonder how good could he have turned out had he played under Andy Reid instead. The guy was clearly a leader and had the ability, but was being coached by the biggest asshole this organization ever hired.

  8. I remember watching that game and thinking the wheels were falling off this ride. They ended up getting their ass handed to them in the playoffs by the Ravens and it kept going downward after that.

  12. This is why Todd Haley isn’t a good coach. He lost the locker room when he decided to pull his starting QB while they had the lead in the middle of trying to clinch a division title.

  13. Wow. That does peel the curtain back on the rampant dysfunction with that group. During a playoff year!
    Imagine how much worse it got the subsequent year.
    I mean, we all learned a lot more with Kent Babb’s explosive expose in The Star, which helped set in motion the overhaul of the organization to what we see today, but these stories peel that curtain back.
    Now contrast that with the steady hand Big Red has exemplified over 13 years.

  19. FUCK TODD HALEY!!! In the past I’ve seen a few comments bash Matt Cassel, fuck them too. He was a gamer and won a division out of nowhere. Tough ending to a good season that year.

  22. Todd Haley used to get into screaming matches with his daughter in the school parking lot each morning, when he was inevitably drop her off late. Screaming at each other through the window of his black suburban.

  25. Todd Haley had me hating our team, he was that bad of a coach. I have never despised a coach of any team in any sport I follow more than that guy.

    I’m additionally wholly unsurprised to learn of his toddler-like antics with so much on the line.

  27. Holy shit. I have a whole new respect for Cassel now. Haley was decent at calling plays, but he was not a good coach. 

    EB may yell at people, but he’s not THAT much of a dick. He’s just trying to get the best out of people.

  28. Whatever happens from now on, I will take the Mahomes/Reid Era over any Chiefs Era or QB/HC combo.
