  1. if the dodgers won the WS without Yamamoto did what he did, Rojas would be in the convo for WS MVP. The most impactful dodgers in the WS were Yamamoto, Rojas and Kiké

  2. I bet I’ll still get goosebumps 10, 20, heck, 50 years later watching his ’25 WS highlights.

  3. I just went and watched the game 7 condensed replay on MLB TV again. It was like remembering a fever dream. I was PUMPED after!

  4. I still can’t believe that post season run.. Rojas was so beast in the playoffs

  5. This is the definition what people call “veteran presence” in pro sports, not wilting in pressure. So many times Miggy Ro stepped up from making the most routine to talented fielding plays

  6. Well he is known for his defense that’s where he provides value for the team. Being able to provide sure handed defense at multiple positions. As far as the homers. Miguel Rojas is not a HR hitter, and that’s ok, that’s what makes the moment even more special is that the player least expected to hit a HR hit one out of the park. Even Joe Davis is in disbelief, as well as Dave Roberts. Joe even said that is was Miguels first hit against a right handed pitcher in a month. So it was shocking because Miguel Rojas is definitely not known as a power hitter.

  7. What I like about Rojas, he doesn’t panic during crunch time. His inner clock still slows him down, tells him he got time, gets his mechanic right and make the play. Like his body goes into routine mode.

  8. Even if he wasn’t the most “valuable” player, he may be the most “important” player. Slight distinction. Dude brings talent and skill, but also experience. He can play multiple positions. He can hit. He can lead. He should get a trophy for that and should NEVER have to buy a drink in Los Angeles for the rest of his life.

The Dodgers don’t win without these moments from Miggy in 2025. Guy is a true winner and definitely important to the team.

  9. I will wake up every morning happy when the first reddit post I see is r/Dodgers debating which one of at least 3 players would have been runner up WS MVP to Yamamoto.

  10. GONNEE!! NOO WAYYYY!!

Edit: I got downvoted. For context, this was Joe Davis’ call during Miggy’s home run, which was electric.

  11. There were many in this sub ripping him all year. Glad he’s now a consensus hero because that’s all he’s been all the years he’s been a Dodger. Dude wants to retire a Dodger and loves our city. He was a legend from the f’ing start! Always loved him.

  12. Not that Dodger fans ever got to witness it, but as a Braves fan, I can tell you the ultimate power/defense combo player was Andruw Jones. Average…not so much.

  13. I touted his praises all season long. I was geeked out whenever he was brought in as a starter. The effortlessness of his swing. The sureness of his glove.

The sound his ring made as he tapped on the metal top of that tequila bottle after they won is forever etched into my memories.

Love that guy. Thank you Miggy Ro!!
