  3. These ppl are not the solution. People become that rich by exploiting their communities. Their answers will always be milquetoast like this. The answer is in the people rising up. There could be Nazis roaming the streets executing people on sight based on their skin color and the Pohlads would still not want to “take sides”

  9. Fuck the Twins and fuck these guys. I couldn’t give less of a shit about this team anymore – can’t really have baseball when our country is crumbling around us. When our community is being brutalized, you gotta do more. A safe, privileged response. I bet signs in the outfield will be “LOVE WINS” or “MN STRONG” or some horseshit.

  10. I’m usually more of a lurker in the sub because it’s often pretty toxic and negative, but this is the reason for me to boycott the Twins and anything associated with the Pohlads. I hate the lack of spending on the team as much as any fan, but I was still planning to go to a few games this year until my home city and the team’s home city became occupied and the team’s owner is sitting here saying he doesn’t want to take sides.

    We all know he’s on the side of ICE because billionaires like him benefit from demonizing immigrants and ginning up hate because it gets people distracted from the billionaires and their own ruinous impact on society, but he’s made that official today.

Not surprised by the response but still somehow even more disappointed that these cowards just get to live their lives and even take the fun out of fucking baseball for us.
