My 🐐. My 🐐. You don’t know how much of love my 🐐.
Man really loves Cleveland
My man gets paid a bit more, secures his future as a Guardian basically for life – and maybe, just maybe – gets the more vocal part of this fanbase to stop whining for like five seconds.
Gomez was super ahead of the curve on Ramirez the last time around I choose to believe this.
He’s a team man through and through
I remember when Yankees fans wanted to trade for him and Clase last year. Pretty sure the Yankees can still trade for Clase if they want to
He’s flatly underpaid on the field before the added value of single handedly keeping fans engaged. Statue my guy
His statue better be 30ft tall.
Rename the stadium after him
Big Jose Ramirez fan. Congratulations Guardians fans!
He’ll definitely end up as minimum a top 3 Guardians player of all time
So what happens in Cleveland if anyone ever tries to boo him? Do you guys all just fight the person? Does security arrest them?
Edit: Funny answers only please. I know he’s never getting boos there.

Cleveland probably should have rebranded to the Cleveland Jose’s because this guy IS the franchise
We are so lucky to have him in Cleveland
I desperately need him to get a title, please. I don’t want 2016 and 17 to be our only chances, open that fucking checkbook. I truly believe with the front office we have multiple titles if we had the check book open. He’s been the best 3rd baseman in the league for 10 years and a top 5 player , it’s time to really honor his loyalty to the city
Love to see a good guy get good things coming his way. Massive respect to him for choosing his own happiness over money to stay in Cleveland. Hope he plays out this contract for them and we are having cooperstown conversations by the end of it
CLEVELAND GIVE THIS MAN A WORTHY TEAM
I mean he just has to be the most likeable player in MLB no?
So sick of reading fans on other teams going “oh let’s just trade for him!” Bro loves Cleveland. He talked about how his fans have never booed him. He’s going nowhere.
Love it for Cleveland!
So he’s gonna end up doing 20 seasons with Cleveland when this extension is all said and done.
There have only been **18** players EVER to play 20+ seasons with only one franchise. And surprisingly only one Yankee!
Congrats Guards that’s REALLY y’all man
Damn, not seen so many Cleveland fans in 1 thread all off-season. Congrats on keeping your guy to the end of his career.
I love seeing smaller markets keep their stars. Especially when this one is a Hall Of Fame player and a legend in Cleveland.
I have been waiting for damn near a decade for that man to get the fuck out of my division, but I’m going to have to wait till he’s in a pine box for that, huh?
As someone who is largely indifferent towards the Guardians, this man alone makes me root for a championship for Cleveland.
Love J Ram. Dude has said how much he loves playing in Cleveland. They love him, too.
Love this for him, the city, and for the sport.
Happy for Jose and Cleveland. It’s awesome he wants to stay in Cleveland, just don’t fuck up like we did with Votto and make sure he retires with you all
One or two more solid seasons and Jram’s a HOF lock, but that still wouldn’t be enough. Build this man a statue
So his original 7/141 turns into 11/246? Steal and a half.
I was here when the GOAT signed to be in Cleveland for the remainder of his career.
Should have renamed the team to be the Cleveland Jose Ramirezes.
Or… perhaps rename the city to Jose Ramirez too. The Jose Ramirez Jose Ramirezes.
Although a millionaire, I hope he eats free in Cleveland. He saved the team a ton of money and took a lot less than going out to the market.
We need more players that stay with one team their entire career.
I’m always happy to see a player spend their entire career with one team. It’s so rare nowadays.
Gotta get that deferred money set up before the new labor agreement. Smart move by Cleveland.
JRam may be the only player I can honestly say… “that dude deserves more”
And I’m not talking about just money… but also accolades, team success, national praise.

Love when hall of fame players stick with one team for 20 seasons, going to join this [elite list](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Major_League_Baseball_players_who_spent_their_entire_career_with_one_franchise)
