15. If there’s one position I trust MCDC to have a good feel on it’s TE. Plus it pretty much seems like a safe plan to just draft any TE coming outta Iowa and he’ll be good. It’s so funny we’ve come full circle on this conversation. I was saying last offseason to just pick up Jamo’s 5th year and trade him before this draft to get some higher pick draft capital. Then they signed him. They could’ve done it without the dead cap hit.

Obvious words will be that's a zinger, but probably not in a good way. What happened to his scheme when klayton Adams left, that seemed to coincide with a deficit in production and an addition of production to the team he went to. But I know you won't report or bring that up. Just t that to report t that his hire might anger Ben but you can't anger a psychopath in that way.

21. We already have too many mouths to feed on the offense . I don’t think this helps. DP hopefully works out in whatever role is planned for him. We don’t even know what that role is. At this current time. We don’t even know if he is calling plays. There is no guarantee that we are going all in on 13 personnel. It’s all speculation at this point.
    The offense really doesn’t need to be totally changed. It needs some Oline attention and good play calling. DC really didn’t fix that. He called the plays for the 3 most crucial losses on the season.
    I am more concerned about the defense. I think they will get the offense back on track. No matter who the play caller is.

    But the defense has bigger issues. Doubling down on Shep comes with some risks. We have seen no movement to help the defensive coaching yet. The defense is loaded with major injuries to start the next year. Plus several under preforming players. Brad Holmes has not done a good job on acquiring talent for the defense. I believe Shep and Holmes have to do better or we will have another disappointing season.

    I like your safety insurance trade idea better. Though I thought it would cost a bit more than you suggested.

    Block buster trades on offense I am out on. You can’t score your way out of a bad defense. It eventually fails in crucial games.

    Plus Holmes has not shown the desire to make block buster trades for players of any kind. Not in his DNA so far.

24. Not saying it would be going all out for a Super Bowl if (and it is a HUGE if) the team makes a move for a guy like McBride. But it does send a clear message to the rest of the team the direction we want to go with our offense. And I, for one, am all for scattering TE's all over the field. The best ones are mismatches for even the best defenses. And presumably we would have two of the best in the game if some transaction involving McBride were to materialize. No defense could ever get comforable.

25. I love me some Trey McBride, but the focus right now needs to be on the O-line … followed closely by the D-line.

26. Cut cunningham and bring in bush and uche both mich guys. They have to draft a def end. Decker will probably retire and sewell is the new Lt and miller right tackle. Get the center from baltimore and bring back zeitler as a swing guard back up. Davenport has to be cut. Mohamid will probably get a deal for big money. Pitts and goddard are free agent TE.

"F dem picks" is no longer an option when your O line needs a minimum of 3 pieces, your healthy defensive front 7 gives up 550 yards rushing in the 3 games they needed to win for the playoffs, both of your starting safeties have now had career altering (for Kirby it could possibly even be ending) injuries, 1 starting CB is bad and the other starter is a bust. The time to go all in was before Benedict left. Now its time to rebuild again. No more wasting 3rd rounders on players that suck so bad they cant even be a usable backup

31. Thank you Will for bringing up this topic. I’m not a Jamo hater, and I don’t want to give him up. But, I have confidence that TeSlaa can pick up the slack of losing Jamo. I don’t like the Montgomery trade or trading all of the draft picks scenarios.
