He definitely has passion for this team and it seems like this city. Realistically we’re running it back with him and I’ve supported every QB under center for the team even if I didn’t agree with it. The Texans are all I know when it comes to fandom. It’d be great if he can get his fucking shit together cause man he really hyped this team up and gave us hope after a horrible downfall of what we thought was our franchise QB in Watson and the purgatory before that.

Man I been hating on Stroud deservingly so but I really hope he pulls it together

  1. CJ had so much juice in his year 1. Everyone says that the OL killed him and that’s not wrong, but he was kind of meh from the beginning of year 2 already and then his demeanor got worse and worse. It’s so strange.

  2. I am still mad but I also hope he pulls it together. He still has flashes of being great so I hope he gets back to that. I always thought he seemed like a good person.

  3. Man what happened to him, that wasn’t one year ago bro, it’s been 2 solid years we haven’t seen him like that. Damn. He went from that to a pathetic bum, it’s crazy

  4. It would be easier (though not cheaper) for him to get it together. As it is, if this is the best of what they will get from him, they need to understand that at the most, they have 2 seasons to figure out a replacement.

  5. How do you fix his issues though. That’s the open question. With his scouting report circulating it’s hard not to think, “Yeah, that was spot on. He’s both talented and not so smart.” Even his physical gifts are handicapped by his lack of development in the most fundamental, junior high level mechanics. There was a recent post breaking down his mechanics in college and in the NFL. His strengths mask his deficits *most* of the time. But then there’s the the mental toughness that is absent to accompany the low mental acuity. When he’s tested or challenged, he simply does not face those things and overcome them. And the fact that he *could* run but chooses not to 99% of the time makes him an even easier target for defenses that can discount a quick dash. This means they can collapse the pocket or even rush up field on the edge because he’ll still be there when you round the tackle or end.

  6. I wish we would have only taken Will Anderson in the first round of 2023 and then drafted a qb in the 2024 draft

  7. I swear if he just trims the dreads he’ll regain his swagger. Out here looking like Jason Castro at QB

  8. He’s a good guy, he has flaws but he’s also done some incredible things for this team. And there’s a chance we don’t see the playoffs those first two seasons without him. I’m grateful we drafted him, I hope he can turn it around convincingly so we can continue with him.

  9. It’s all Demeco. TAKE HIM OUT. Players have bad genes. Leaving him in was worse. He’s getting ridiculed. Imagine if he stepped up by letting someone else have a shot. His ego is that fragile? He wasn’t gonna do anything. We watched a bad performance turn into a pathetic display. Save the man from himself. Take him out.
