With José Ramírez locked in Cleveland for his entire career, here’s how he stacks up among franchise all-time leaders
January 25, 2026
52 more homers to tie (!!) Jim Thome
10 more games to tie for first with Terry Turner
88 more doubles to pass Nap Lajoie and tie Tristram Speaker
135 RBIs to tie Earl Averill
165 steals to tie Kenny Lofton
What other stats do you want to see?

Dude will be the greatest player in franchise history for ever
So realistically, the only one he wouldn’t lead with at the end of his career is possibly steals? Even that could happen too. We really watching the goat
All of them, he deserves to have the ball park renamed after him. The Jake, Progressive, The Josey. Sounds good to me.
Joy. He’s the all time leader in playing with joy and that will not change.
Maybe some other players will love Cleveland like Jose and sign an extension. I hope the team uses that money saved to get a couple other guys locked up.

Easiest statue decision ever
I love him
I can see Jose being a GM for us in like 10 years
It’s a fantastic day in the Siberian Midwest!
