26. BUF-NYI – The difference in this game was the Sabres playing tik-tak-goal, and the Isles playing slap the biscuit. A ton of breakaway goals early for the Isles with no construct for actually scoring. Lyon was money in the vault…UTA-NSH – Smart to move that game time up in Nashville, giving the Mams time to get out of town before all hell breaks loose…In other interesting news, a king-of-salmon fish was just spotted in Monterey Bay. This is a fish that normally lives at a 3,000 foot depth. I'm wondering if there are allegorical parallels in the NHL this year… 🤔
