We know he's not a long term solution, but at this rate, he's barely even a short ter more energy on both sides of the floor when he's sitting on the bench

  1. Dudes a bum, at one point had the same amount of shots has Bron/luka had combined. Misses a shot acts confused then complains while not getting back on defense

  2. I know Claxton and Hayes is redundant but fuck it. At minimum we need bigs with a motor.
Its legit baffling how much he doesnt seem to give a fuck at times.

  3. Weakest center I have laid my eyes on dude has all the tool to be great. Dude makes Luka and Bron passes look terrible.

  4. I honestly have nothing against Ayton, he has been good in lots of games. But your starting centre cannot be a player who demands more shots than your stars, misses those shots, and plays soft defence. Luka elevates centres like Hayes to a crazy degree – if you can jump and dunk, Luka will take you to the promised land. AR will too

  5. He just isnt that guy, he gave a shit for the first month or 2 and now hes back to who he is.

  6. He’s got a low mental fortitude. Super soft in difficult situations. Only a 20 and 10 guy against weak centers

  7. Yes yes here we go. Bad game, everyone is ready to ship him to Shanghai. We’ve been down this road before. Honesty this sub is so tiring.

He had a bad game. It happens. Let’s see what happens when we get AR back because yall were singing a different song about him when he was connecting with AR.

  8. Probably ruined his own season in these last 10 games. Final chance to escape the minimum contract trap and he blew it

  9. Noticing a trend… the lakers play way harder and execute better in the clutch when he’s not playing. I hope they can use him in a trade this season

  10. He complains about not getting fed he gets fed the most and does this it’s like for every good game he has he has 4 bad ones

  11. He complains about not getting fed he gets fed the most and does this it’s like for every good game he has he has 4 bad ones

  12. Trade him. He’s gotta go. When someone is this bad, they just end up being bad vibes. Time to move on.

  13. I didn’t get to watch the game it seems like he was active just missing a bunch of shots which he usually doesn’t do. I kept updating online.

  14. I mean he’s making 8 mil. He’s getting paid what his market value is. An ok starting center with a good ceiling and crap floor

  15. Upsetting. When he has that drive he is our contending big, the missing piece. I don’t like seeing our guys in the Purple and Gold get slandered or attacked but this is unacceptable conduct for a team trying to get the engine going to compete. If he has to go, **he has to go**.

  16. yall are being weird. i don’t think he’s the long term fit because he doesn’t fit great with luka, but he’s a fantastic fit with austin and played great ball when he was healthy. he’s playing through a painful eye injury and is going to be another 1 year laker to be pushed out by entitled fans refusing to consider context and making him a scapegoat for everything no matter whether it makes sense or not. any team in the league would take him for all his strengths and weaknesses at 8m.

  17. Ayton has been so bad at times that Hayes who was unplayable in the playoffs last year suddenly seems like a great option

  18. Most nights my ire is for Gabe because I’m like, dude you can’t score AND you can’t defend, like pick a struggle, you can’t have both. But tonight, Domin-Ayton played about as soft a game as you’ll ever see. So many damned missed layups, and two footers, and casually watching rebounds hit the ground without even attempting to hustle for them, it was just disgusting. When I’m begging for Jaxson Hayes to get time, what tf are we talking about?

  19. If Austin returns and he still play like shit, bench him. I think Austin returning would help with the spacing so Hayes and Ayton get more lobs from Luka and Lebron.

  20. Suns fan here. I come in peace.

The worst part about DeAndre Ayton is every few games he makes you believe that you have a center. Then you realize he has the lowest basketball IQ of anyone in the league, terrible hands, doesn’t give a shit about winning, and you realize you’ve been tricked.

  21. LA is officially entering the Ayton Zone when the fanbase realizes that every rumor you ever heard about him was right. As a Blazer fan, I had hopes he could become a 18/10 player, but Ayton just doesn’t care about being great. He will have one or two games that renew your hope, only to have 4-6 games that are played with no effort or passion.

  22. shocking..almost like a player that cant mentally play his worth is bad for the team. this dude did this every team hes been on. Maybe cause i watched the suns alot when KD was there but it was obvious he is mentally weak to handle this shit. moving to LA? buster move

  23. I swear this is like Westbrook all over again. Anyone who actually pays attention to the league outside of the Lakers knew he wasn’t a good option even in the short term when we signed him, but people in this sub didn’t want to hear it
