Is wild for me to see how Mitch and OG can be physical with Embiid but KAT can't even touch him.
KAT is not getting a defensive foul, he's getting a reputation foul, they are judging him based on his past performance despite he's playing good defence.

his offensive “fouls” are getting ridiculous. he’s getting grabbed first most of the time because players know the refs won’t call it
KAT definitely has the worst whistle in NBA history, I find myself saying “If KAT did that there’d be a foul” around 10 times per game. It’s very ridiculous
Might’ve been best for the Knicks as a whole. That 30-13 3rd quarter was all I needed to see to know he’s the problem.
It was really annoying watching Embid charge into players on the offensive and defensive side of the ball and the refs are suddenly blind. The non-call against Brunson taking a charge in the last minute of the game was exceptionally egregious. Embid is such a punk on the court. I know KAT can get a bad rep for wanting every whistle but today, he deserved far better calls in his favor
I gotta admit he gets the worst and unluckiest foul calls so I can see why he gets visibly frustrated when they’re his aren’t called.
Okay it’s a former ref, that’s still enough to commit fouls alot of the time we call it for chest bumping and the goof balls will stand there with their hands in the air, like put your hands down that’s not what I called a foul on you for 😂. Yes I understand verticality we are trained and drilled on that. Most people don’t even know there’s a whole ass exam you have to pass about the rule book to even be a ref.
That all being said, I don’t agree with all of the calls but there’s things people don’t understand at times.

Yeah I feel like they tell the refs who to keep an eye on, like they have a list of top offenders. And that would mean that Kat stays on that list everytime he plays until he tones it down for a while like how he’s been doing past two games.
KAT legitimately might be the worst officiated player in NBA history. He gets called for breathing on dudes on defense while getting mauled every single drive without a call like 90% of the time

He definitely has a bad whistle no doubt, but he can be so careless and frankly a bit of a lumbering fool
