1. I like your thinking but a few concerns. Giannis is a diamond 💎 in this league but… 1. His game depends on his physicality. He’s not like KD who shoots great. Giannis game will decline as he’s less physical. He’s been getting hurt a lot. 2. Gianni’s will clog the middle again like Randle. KAT opens the floor more. 3. Grant has a big contract and both he and Giannis play PF. I guess Grant will have to play SF. All that being said, Giannis is special and better than KAT. KAT is not a winner. Even in Kentucky with a much better team he didn’t win. I never wanted KAT so to me, ✌🏽 deuces.

5. The best move forward is to move KAT for assets and then re-evaluate at the end of the season. Getting rid of his massive salary would create flexibility under the apron to retool the roster accordingly. In the interim, losing him would be addition by subtraction. He's too much of a distraction for this team because of his antics. I really hope we can recoup the guys we lost from our 2023-2024 roster. They actually played with heart and had a competent defense/identity.

7. The officiating in todays game in the last 41 seconds of the game was the worst I've ever seen in a NBA game. The 76 Er's scored 8 pts in 8 seconds with a series of terrible calls. I'm loathe to watch another Knick game ever.

21. For me Mical Bridges is another problem and it's obvious if you're watching the game closely. I'm leaning towards trading Bridges because he's not worth all the trade picks given up for his LACK of consistency.

23. I am not going to lie that games sucked even though we won. 1. The reffing sucked ass and that is for both teams. I feel they miss more calls for us but it was so dumb. 2. How the hell we don't hit a damn free throw the last 3 minutes of the game and how we not hitting easy shots. 3. Embid had too many points. 4. Towns had a good game and would have been better if not fouled out. Either way we played better with Mitch out there. However, our bench biggs need to better too. I am happy we won at the end 🙂

26. Okay problem is with this mock trade who is starting center? As much as I wish he could Mitch can't be more than a backup with his health and minutes restriction. Diawara is too green but is a decent third. If they are trading Kat they at least need an experienced center

31. The New York Knicks’ current situation reminds me of the stories about how Walt Bellamy and Willis Reed ( two legitimate centers) once played together. The offense wasn’t flowing as it should, and the team became stagnant in its overall play. Walt Frazier and Bill Bradley, in particular, suffered as a result. Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson, another pair of true centers, represent a similar scenario today.

    As we all know, Walt Bellamy was eventually traded for Dave DeBusschere (RIP), and the Knicks went on to win their only championships (twice). History has a way of repeating itself. I would trade Karl-Anthony Towns for Giannis Antetokounmpo (whatever it takes) though certain players must remain off limits (i.e., Brunson, Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Robinson). That trade will again the most important in the franchise history and it needs to happen immediately.
