If by some insane chance he was still coaching here in 12 years, things would have had to have gone seriously right to justify that, because as angry as fans are right now, they're gonna get vocal very quickly if this goes badly. I think it's reasonable to assume he'll coach the full 5 years if he wants to, but if they don't have a playoff win in that stretch, I think it'll be over. If they have some playoff success and McCarthy is having fun, who knows, but that would be a problem we would probably all like to have, because it would mean post season success
