Boost 2027 NFL Draft for the Bears Mock Draft with trades:
Lost some good picks in 2026 and 2027 CHI 1st, 2nd, and 3rd picks, but got 2027 NYJ and TEN picks that could be 2 picks within top 10, 2 picks within 33-43, and 2 picks within 65-75.

I believe this should be done to free up cap space to set up cap space to resign QB Caleb Williams. All while possibly even making the team more talented while losing players instead of less talented.
By resigning our free agents and trading Moore and Edmunds, we can also get even more draft picks for this year and pick up cheaper free agents.

Rashid Shaheed would be a huge upgrade from Duvernay. Game changing return guy.
Bears have no backup at Center, certainly nobody proven. After years of bad Center play, Dalman's been a revelation and a good FA signing. But the Bears have nothing behind him, and IIRC Dalman's contract is 3 years, so I could see drafting a center being a sneeky need.

My dream pick is to trade up to get Caleb Downs. He is the best player in the draft and will be in the discussion when he retires with Ed Reid, Polamalu, etc.
