1. How about this a self satisfied and arrogant hire. This org is so far behind NE we can kid ourselves all we want but it’s true.

3. This team doesn’t even know the new generation of athletes and kids for that matter. They do NOT want to learn and be mentored by old people. They want peers and companions.

10. I would possibly agree if this hire seemed like a bridge or temporary hire… but… I’m so uninspired by this along with the rest of the fanbase.

    It looks like a myopic decision and grave mistake, and one that leads me to believe the ownership and leadership is blind to the actual problems the organization face. This is not a hopeful sign of good things to come.

    I should have known this would happen when Big Ben was praising this move before it happened on his podcast. It seemed like he was prepping the fans into the positives of this type of move.

    I disagree with all of it. I hate it in fact. And I’m beginning to feel betrayed by a franchise I have loved and known for my entire life.

11. This is all about passing and QBs. The 4 QBs still playing are in the top 8 in passing yards. The top 8 running back in yards are all sitting at home. If Steelers don’t get into this century of nfl football they have no chance.

15. It says to me its belief in the group of players but vote of no confidence on Mike Tomlin and the OC/DC to pilot the team.

    Look at all the 3rd and 19s given up. Look at the missuse of personel. Look at not using the middle of the field

16. Nussmeier isn't better then Will Howard…He had 1 good year…Not a great year in anyway… We should just save the picks…

17. Dan Quinn was headcoach of the Superbowl Falcons against the Patriots before he was with the Cowboys… Quinn isnt from McCarty's coaching tree…That would be like say Arthur Smith is apart of Tomlins tree when he was already a headcoach prior to Pittsburgh…

19. Steelers introduced , followed and in the end were handcuffed by the Rooney rule stuck with Tomlin too long. Steelers did their time with the Rooney rule, "NEXT TEAM!" Too many current steelers players don't want to wait to rebuild, Cam and TJ deserve a real SB shot.

20. I am leaning toward the premise of needing a coach to find that next qb. Just like Andy Reid who vetted Mahomes. Not saying that outcome will happen but that is the intention and the other candidates can’t provide that.
