At least Gannon will fit right in.

  1. Perfect. We get one more quarter. Now…the final piece….the elusive 4th quarter.

  2. That’s what you get, when you hire former Browns’ front office executives….

  3. Honestly this makes me more exited about the hire. He clearly has his players prepared for each game but eventually the lack of talent they had caught up to them.

    This might be cope though.

  4. This is definitely not from last season. They fell behind 21-0 early every game especially down the stretch

Edit: This is from early October of 2025. Basically a 4 game sample size that included that hilarious collapse against Tennessee

  5. I mean first in EPA for 75% of the game is really really good. Unfortunate that it’s the least important 75%. but this gives me high hopes. Micah really comes alive in the fourth anyway

  6. This is my problem with the “bend but don’t break” defense. So often you lose time of possession leaving the defense gassed by the 4th. Plus it takes possessions away from the offense.

  7. Yeah. Scheme vs talent.

First 3 quarters is scheme. 4th quarter is talent. He had little talent.

  8. Run game coordinator, pass game coordinator, 4th quarter coordinator. They should hire Al Harris for 4th quarter.

  9. This seems like another cultural continuation of the inability to close out 4th quarters.

  10. Isn’t this with him as a head coach though? So he wasn’t calling the defensive plays

  11. I’m sure that has to do with how God awful the Cardinals O was. They were gassed by the 4th.

  12. Can we have Gannon just coach the first 3 Quarters and hire someone else to coach the 4? Just thinking outside the box.

  13. For those missing Haf, they get exactly what he was, so any fan of Haf can be happy and positive!

  14. If I’m remembering correctly he didn’t do the defensive play calling in Arizona. It’s also hard to fully pass judgement on someone leaving Arizona because it’s just a dumpster fire of an organization right now.

The Packers are obviously going to need to get better at a couple of positions on defense. I’d like to believe he’d get back closer to to his Philly defense days with a healthy Wyatt and Parsons. Again, that would also be dependent on finding basically anyone with a pulse to replace Nixon and Valentine.
