Honestly this makes me more exited about the hire. He clearly has his players prepared for each game but eventually the lack of talent they had caught up to them.

Not this time. We made a solid hire for DC. Draft 5 CBs
This is my problem with the “bend but don’t break” defense. So often you lose time of possession leaving the defense gassed by the 4th. Plus it takes possessions away from the offense.
Seems like the perfect fit for us TBH.

I’m sure that has to do with how God awful the Cardinals O was. They were gassed by the 4th.
Can we have Gannon just coach the first 3 Quarters and hire someone else to coach the 4? Just thinking outside the box.

If I’m remembering correctly he didn’t do the defensive play calling in Arizona. It’s also hard to fully pass judgement on someone leaving Arizona because it’s just a dumpster fire of an organization right now.
The Packers are obviously going to need to get better at a couple of positions on defense. I’d like to believe he’d get back closer to to his Philly defense days with a healthy Wyatt and Parsons. Again, that would also be dependent on finding basically anyone with a pulse to replace Nixon and Valentine.
