  1. Can you guys cover the tax implications of playing in NY and California? That has to/or should greatly have an impact on the price of the contracts, living expenses and choices made by the players. $20 in Texas goes a lot further than $20 in LA or NYC

  2. I'm just gonna say it. If the dodgers win another world series in a row I'm done watching until there's a cap on player pay that is fair across the league. Real changes or people lose interest. It's not a real sport if every season works out the eventual same exact way. "Oh Gee, I wonder how the Dodgers win this year!" No thanks.

  3. Also as far as Beltran going into the Hall, everyone from the Road era and even Pete Rose need to be in right now. This might get some hate but they do need to be in.

  4. My speaker broke…sorry. I wanted to comment though by saying 2 of the WS Astros cheaters got huge contracts this year. Almost rewarding cheaters in a way and they'll never earn those contracts. They aren't close to that good.

  5. Everyone should still be pissed at the black sox from the 20s if ur still butthurt at the Astros for doing what a lot of players said most teams do but just don't get caught. Come on now y no investigations in those allegations

  6. They're cheating right now being able to spend more than all other teams is only reason theyre in the world series every year. If so good everyone should get same amount and then see who wins it'll be fair then

  7. Tucker has a mission, and it is to get the most money he can secure. 10 year $350 by the Blue Jays, 4 years $220 by the Mets.

Tucker’s bet is calculated, because he should be easily able to get a contract worth more than 6 years $110 million in his age 32-33. And if he doesn’t, he has $240 million in his coffers already!

  8. Absolutely gonna be a lock out. You can't blame the players. It's a business to them. Wouldn't you take it? There's no limit. Golden rule. Whoever has the gold, rules. Dodgers, Yankees, Mets have the gold.

  9. I haven't listened to the video all the way. I'm only like a quarter in not even that, HYPOTHETICAL THOUGH.

If BICHETTE did not leave for the META, would this have been an easier decision for him to go to TORONTO?

  10. The Dodgers are one of "THE TEAMS." Along with the Yankees, Red Sox, and a few others are given more slack. Even certain players get special considerations. Like Ohtani for instance. I find it hard to believe that he would not know that much money was disappearing from his accounts. The league excepted his excuse with a wink and a nod. The single greatest ball player on the planet could not be banned for gambling. Terrible for buissiness. A little slap on the hand. He won't do it again.😜

  14. Charlie you must be the most negative baseball guy I've ever heard. I bet when you saw your son hit his first home run you probably said "I told you not to pull it, with your stance you gotta go the other way, you got lucky".

  15. EDIT IDEA – I liked the inclusion of the Pressly vs Correa clip in the video. I think including more clips like that in the future would be cool. What might work well is to keep the person talking about the clip visible in the far left rectangle and play the clip on the other 2/3 of the screen. Just a thought!

    Enjoyed the video!

  16. I wish to God the corrupt regime that MLB is would face reality, and implement a REAL salary cap. It's shameful how a handful of the richest owners keep the rest on a leash. And I blame Luhnow for the scandal. Yes, other teams were pulling off the same crap, but when MLB office sent an email to each team owner about what was going on (and why it's inappropriate), the other GMs sent the email to their team manager, and also possibly had a good long talk with everyone. Luhnow round-filed it, and AJ was left in the dark about the imperative to stop the trickery immediately.
