Interested to see how we sign him and get under the apron. Don't want to lose anyone, but that seems impossible

  1. I saw a nuggets page on insta saying there’s been rumors Denver is trying to trade Zeke to open up space to sign Spencer and stay under the tax.

  2. Sounds like a cheap move but remember if we make a trade to get under the tax ownership recieves $10m from the teams paying the tax this year.

  3. Keep Zeke (cant believe I typed that) and trade Hunter for anything. I would even trade him for a coupon at this point

  4. I think this sub overrates Spencer Jones quite a bit. He has been pretty good for us during this injury stretch but I mean he’s averaging 6 and 3 in 23.5 minutes. The 7-10 roster spots are pretty interchangeable lol

  5. Joke AG Cam CB Murray
Val Spencer PWat Tim Bruce plus a bit of Picket
I would say that Spencer is the final piece in a very good 10 man rotation. I can see him play minutes in a play off game. Maybe not game 7 but 1-4 for sure.

  6. Just pay the man lol, we’re already gonna have to go into the second apron to keep pwat. I get owners don’t want to do that but like it seems like an obvious choice at this point

  7. He deserves a full time contract. The problem is that they have no assets to attach to Zeke to make anyone take him.

The financial Tetris to keep Jones and Watson is gonna be tough

  8. The NBA salary cap is so convoluted. I have no idea of the ins and outs

What I know is we need to convert Jones and re-sign PWat in the offseason, and Zeke has proven to be a decent depth piece that has some value and can/should be moved before the deadline.
