Joe Mixon… such a huge difference maker and looked like a steal after his first season with the Texans. But we wasted 8 mil of cap space on him in 2025. For 2026, he’s too expensive to keep and free’s up 8mil of cap space if we cut him. We have to let him go, but won’t surprise me if he’s a 1000 yard rusher once again next season.
this dude cost the texans a superbowl berth just as much as that knucklehead CJ.
and i still dont know what or how or when this dude got injured….

We don’t even know what kind of injury he has.
I mean I’m willing for the Texans to give him a shot as we desperately need a RB1, I just don’t know how well it’s going to go for him overall.
Some of these comments made me realize we learned nothing after a season with old man chubb. 30 year olds and RB don’t mix. Especially after coming off this “freak” injury that sidelined him much longer then expected. Mixon is done as a Texan and maybe as a football player as well
