  1. I don’t like KAT as a player but no doubt he’s a great human being that has dealt with a lot of heartbreak. Glad he’s speaking out.

  2. all my homies hate Nazis

fuck ICE and border patrol and any fuckers who support them

  3. I don’t give a fuck if the man fouls a lot. What’s happening in MN, and across the country, right now is so much bigger than basketball, and KAT should be applauded and loved for using the platform basketball gave him to stand up for what’s right

  4. The replies to the tweet are disgusting.

Hate that I share a fanbase with some of those people.

  5. No one will ever take away the great human being that is Karl-Anthony Towns regardless of how good he is now OR once was before he came here.

Seven people died in his family due to Covid-19, but we first knew when it happened to his very own mother.

However he also spent his first nine seasons with those Minnesota Timberwolves before coming to us and lost who could’ve been his head coach in Flip Saunders before his very first NBA game.

Yet I’ll never forget all I’ve known about him on and off the court ever since his days at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ.

  6. Respect. Sad that he’s one of the only players that has the balls to speak on this though.

  7. I really hope this sort of speaking out inspires people to get out on the streets. It’s going to take full-scale protests on a massive scale to turn this (literally) unbelievable situation around. And wow, has this softened my resentment towards this infuriating, self-limiting player 🙂. May the people of America know peace and freedom once more. Hard to believe I’m writing that.

  8. All is forgiven KAT, go out there and get these buckets my guy!

Note: Was he the first NBA star to stand up?

  9. This is the man yall love to call zesty and make fun of his “different voices” funny how the same nba players who like to talk shit aren’t using their voice to talk ab it hmmmmmm

  10. Wolves fan here. I know the guy will infuriate you with his play at times, but he’s an absolute gem of a human. I will always love and respect that man.
