He's an absolute game changer for this offense IMO yet we barely use him & when we do he makes plays.

I can see him growing into and becoming a Tyreek Hill type of receiver.
Honestly lets switch troy and Mims, mims is too good to be wasting as kr. Court + mims + Pat + first round wr is what we should be going into next year with. and a 2nd round TE. But then again troys hands an kr are a bit scary lol.
I agree. He’s a nice returner but with the way the NFL is going that just not a super valuable position. Too much upside to not have him on the offense full time
Mims needs to be given a bigger role on offense for sure
hes a returner and a gadget guy.. have you ever seen him catch a pass that wasn’t a screen or go ball in 3 years??!
Pat Bryant’s injuries are getting pretty concerning
He’s a nice role player and gadget guy. But if he’s one of your top two WR’s, that’s not a great sign for the rest of your WR core.
They NEED to add. And it’s probably gonna have to be in free agency or a trade since Paton’s offensive skill player drafting has been underwhelming
One of the most underrated players in the league imo
I hope so too. He generally makes plays when he gets WR snaps especially as a deep threat.
He is used as a Mecole Hardman type, which is a KR/PR and some gadget plays, but I think there is still plenty of room for him to be a WR.
Them drops from Cortland was crucial
He is the most dangerous receiver on the team and the fact he hasn’t been featured more is criminal
Our WRs need to get separation. They’re hardly open.
We need a real #1 and probably 2 other new WR. And a playmaker TE.
Draft some offensive weapons.
I really think he could be a legit #2 WR if he gets the chances.
But the coaching staff just really doesn’t like his route running I guess because he runs a fairly limited route tree. Every time he gets WR opportunities in a game he flat out makes plays though and that’s why us fans think he will be a breakout player every year.
I have seen people claim he is too good on special teams but I think they are being dense. A #2 WR is much more valuable than that, but they just don’t trust him in that role.
If Marvin Mims isn’t starting and being used in Sean Payton’s offense next season he needs to demand a trade or go somewhere else when he becomes a free agent in 2027 cause if we don’t fully use him there’s plenty of teams that would love to add a player of his caliber and maximize his talent
Again…. Sean talked all this hype and did nothing. “he’s our #2. He’s a gadget guy”. I’ve been yelling all year about mims.
Sean gives him crap jet sweeps and screens. Doesn’t use him on slants and deep balls. He was “forced” to use him he paid off.
Sean’s ego again… drives me nuts
This!! So this!!!
I like mims and salute him for stepping up but he shouldn’t be a starter on a real contending team
I’m sick of Franklin and Sutton. They don’t have the right stuff to be a number one wr. Pay Mims. Use Mims. And go draft some more talent.
I know it’s hard to do…but we need a real #1. Watching Puka and JSN today, I could imagine what Bo and the offense could become
Love Mims, but his ceiling is a gadget role on offense. He can create mismatches out of the backfield or stretch a defense vertically, but is not a threat to the intermediate distances or middle of the field. If he can really hone in on elite route running and creating separation in those small-chunk pockets of the pass game, then great. Going into year 4, I’m not crazy about him as a receiving threat, but love his reliability as a returner.
I 100% agree!
i want him to be an emmanuel sanders guy. i just remember how often manning would go to him in the intermediate game and how reliable he is. mims probably had the least dropped passes this year too
I loved watching him at OU and I love watching him at Denver now, i told my wife we needed to utilize him more, especially with him being a pro bowler
He has the best hands on the team
Definitely. I do wanna see some WR turnover though. You draft or college experts would there realistically be a good WR option down at pick 30?
Yes if he can work on his route tree. Otherwise he’s behind Franklin and Bryant on the depth chart for a reason
It really seems like the coaching staff turned on him early in the year. He was utilized through the first three weeks, then was relegated to just a punt returner.
It wont change the fact sean doesnt throw the ball down the field enough we have 1-2 good drives and the rest are shitting the bed doing stupid screen passes or dump offs that get 2 yards
I’ll settle for a WR1 that can actually catch the ball. Trade Sutton for literally anyone and anything that can catch a football.
AJ Brown is probably available. Mims isn’t an every down WR.
