Is it just me or would PW be a perfect addition to the next phase of the rebuild? At just 23 years old he has developed immensely on a team that likely will not be able to afford him as he approaches restricted free agency.
Over the last 10 games he is averaging 23p 6r 3a 3stocks. That’s mostly without the gravity of Jokic
who has been out since late last month.

Watson has everything we hope for in Bilal but with more of an offensive bag. And I think he will work with our young core and be perfect around Trae. Worst case, it will make our forwards fight for minutes and if Bilal falters we can sign him to super team friendly deal the year after.
Peyton would be great value on a front loaded contract at $20-$25M AAV. I love this way more than going for Kessler.

He had super beef with Alex yesterday, idk, looks like he would be the Draymond of the locker room, which I guess could be a good thing

No its not just you. We’ve been talking about it in game threads, there’s [posts like these](https://www.reddit.com/r/washingtonwizards/comments/1qkfgq2/washington_wizards_compete_but_fall_to_nuggets_on/), et cetera.
To me he’s assertive enough that we’d need to give up a piece or two of our current young core. In other words he’s not a “Fit In” type guy. I’ve seen people bring up Bilal but to me he’s nothing like Bilal at all. And I really hope nobody ever hoped for Bilal to look like [Watson already looks.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOL1_heoYAA)

Trae is not someone to plan around to me. Yes we could have a Kuz situation and Trae spends way more time here than he should, but in an idea DawkWing world, Trae is not a Wizard this time next year.
I’m fine with bringing on Watson, I just think it’ll take like 4 guys (2 young core, 2 AJ/Branham type) to get him if we’re doing some kind of trade.
If it’s a “hey, convince him to sign here as a restricted free agent after he scored his career high on the guys he’d be playing with”………..
I don’t think he’ll be that cheap. If he was, Denver would just trade Braun and keep Watson.
This is how Grunfeld used to approach free agency: overpay the guy who torches you the previous season.
good luck, his value will be sky high
He cooked us. We couldn’t do shit with him. Then he talked crazy to Sarr after the block. Sarr tried some get back and got blocked again. After that he got clobbered a few times. But i don’t know what Denver situation is but they’d most likely match. I don’t have hopes for the RFA class unless we overbid
Lol! One more guy to put on the list of players taken after Johnny Davis in 2022!
He went 30th by the way. So players like that are out there, like Keyshawn and Will Riley hopefully.
High key if we get Peyton it makes bilal seem very unnecessary. Especially since we got Keyshawn and (hypothetically) Peyton to guard their two best (non center) options and we got Jamir if we need someone to lock up off the bench. And considering we have jc, who I believe provides way more upside and still good defense, and two young more intriguing projects in Will Riley and can whitmore. Hard for me to justify bilal getting minutes in this situation (or any situation where we acquire another defensively competent forward), even more so with how often he’s injured. Just sayin🤷♂️
